"We all know, we all feel that lately the main business sector is MSMEs. Facing an extraordinary disruption. In addition to technological disruption, technological disruptions there are also disruptions related to COVID-19 that last quite a long time. It's been almost 2 years we've faced that," said Prof. Kusdi.
According to Prof. Kusdi, with the disruption of technology and pandemic outbreaks is very inhibiting and threatens the sustainability of the business or the resilience of the business itself.
"To face this very dynamic era, organizational performance including work efforts is not enough to just look at it from a financial perspective that is short-term. Therefore, now it is measured by the resilience of the business," he said.
In line with this, copywriter and content creator Siauw Andreas also explained tips and strategies for digitalization of marketing through copywriting so that business people can maintain their business.
Siauw said, on social media, we are not only competing with our competitors, but we are also competing with people whose target market we follow.
"Let's imagine, if I follow your Instagram account which means I'm your target market, there's no way I just follow you right? Let's say I follow 50-100 people on my Instagram. I automatically see approximately 30-50 pieces of content every day. Well, how can we compete with what our target market sees every day on Instagram. Therefore, the importance of being peddled now we capture the attention or attention of our market is by copywriting" explained Siauw.
On the same occasion, K2PU activists of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences UB, M. K. Mawardi, PhD also gave a presentation related to the readiness of MSMEs to enter the global market.
"BRI and Universitas Brawijaya have the same commitment to encourage and help MSMEs to move up the class. Rising in class here must reach the global market, "said Mawardi.
